When to sow Outdoors March to June or August to September.
Where to sow Poppy seeds are best sown direct outside where they are to flower as the seedlings do not transplant well.
Sow seeds thinly 1cm (1/2in) deep in a well prepared bed and cover with a fine compost and water well.

Remove seed pods before the seed is shed if you do not wish them to self seed.
Flowering period June to September.
Uses Borders and beds and cut flowers
