Rosemary - a hardy perennial, can be used for ornamental, culinary and medicinal purposes. It's dark foliage are like soft pine needles with an aromatic scent and flavour.
Mint - Greenmint is very easy to grow and this aromatic herb plant has a multitude of culinary uses, ranging from mint sauce as accompaniment to roasted lamb, as a garnish for summer drinks or served sweet with chocolate.This vigorous perennial is best planted in a pot or container, to control its spread, making it perfect to grow outside your back door or on a patio.
Lavender - 'Hidcote Blue' is a popular, compact variety with a fantastic scent and striking deep purple-blue flower spikes which emerge from silver-grey foliage in mid summer. Is great for attracting bees and butterflies, using as a culinary herb or drying for craft purposes. Once established it is very low maintenance and requires just a quick trim, after flowering, to encourage new growth and to keep it neat and tidy.
Cucumber - 'Burpless Tasty Green F1' is one of the best varieties to grow outdoors and produces high quality fruits which have a tender skin with a sweet and crisp flesh. The plants climb to approx. 1.8m high and require a trellis or cane to give support. They are a very easy cucumber to grow and are perfect for pots or grow bags in a sunny position on the patio.
Chilli - Jalapeño - has an average heat rating of 2,500 to 8000 on the Scoville scale. The Jalapeño is possibly the most famous chilli species in the world and is great for the beginner grower as it is easy to grow and produces an abundant crop.
