Description
Aster Carpet Mixed is a dwarf variety which produces masses of double chrysanthemum type flowers in a range of pastel and bright colours. Their compact size makes them excellent for beds and borders as well as container gardening.
Most Asters in the UK are hardy perennials, however they are not happy in wet soil in a UK winter. This variety is an annual, ideal for summer bedding and perfect for pots or cut flowers.
Aster attracts bees and butterflies and is included on the RHS Perfect for Pollinators list.
